Wanted : Name For Clothes Store

Obviously writing is not my main job. I doubt few can devote their lively hood to it, albeit they be rich, famous or retired – so of to work I go every morning.

We own 2 online clothes stores and have just found a suitable small village shop to let.Whoohoo.

All and everyone here is suitably excited, and while we have a lot of renovating, sanding, painting and decorating to do, one of the most important areas that need attention is the naming of the store.

The village is small and rural, we would like the store to be suitable for 20 something and 50 somethings alike. Not to modern, not to old fashioned, so a name to suit both age groups.

I would quite like to avoid actual womans names, as mine is Kathryn, it does not give itself to hang above a door, and any other name would be a bit odd. “why did you name your shop Belle’s? ” “because its my dogs name and I like it” not the most professional response going.

I would appreciate any and all suggestions and will from now on give running updates on our progress within this new adventure.
